Cuban Medical Brigade Celebrates Science Day in Namibia

Windohek, January 20 (RHC-PL) --  Cuba's medical brigade in Namibia held a scientific session that learned about cases treated, the analysis of experiences with some patients, solutions to specific problems and the collection of data, according to the embassy in the country.

According to the Caribbean diplomatic mission there, the Namibian Deputy Minister of Health and Social Services, Juliet Kavetuna, Cuban professionals representing their colleagues based in different regions of the country and a group of Cuban diplomats headed by Ambassador Giraldo Mazola participated in the 21st Scientific Conference.

In this meeting, high-quality research and interest in the topics discussed and their conclusions were made known, the statement said.

Ambassador Mazola, praised the rigor of the papers presented and the English language skills of the participating doctors and stressed the importance of the work they do in each of the health centers where they provide services.
