Addis Ababa, January 30 (RHC)-- The African Union has renewed its condemnation of the economic, financial and trade blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba.
The regional group also lamented the setback in bilateral ties between Washington and Havana under the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump.
In a resolution adopted at the bloc's 30th Summit, which concluded Monday in Addis Ababa, capital of Ethiopia, the heads of state and government from all 55 member states blasted as arbitrary and unjustifiable Washington's nearly six-decade old hostile policy toward the Caribbean state.
All African countries have long maintained a common stance in support of Cuba against the U.S. blockade within the African Union, at the United Nations and at any other international forum.
