Havana, Feb 20 (RHC)-- Cuba's telecommunications company Etecsa and Luxembourg's SES Networks signed a cooperation agreement on satellite capacity and teleport services.
The accord allows for the diversification of satellite connectivity on the island, with the use of fiber optic cables and a medium earth orbit satellite, thus guaranteeing additional capacity to support increased Internet traffic levels for users.
SES Networks is a world leader in satellite communications. The company offers its customers, governments and institutions alike, business computer networking, Internet security, data storage options, and business continuity solutions.
