Brazzaville, May 11 (RHC)-- Denis Sassou N'guesso, President of the Republic of the Congo, received in a special audience Marcia Cobas Ruiz, deputy minister of Health of Cuba, who is in Brazzaville heading an official delegation.
The Congolese head of state sent fraternal greetings to Cuban President Miguel Diaz Canel and to Communist Party Secretary Raul Castro, and reaffirmed his solidarity with the island.
President Sassou N'guesso and Marcia Cobas also reviewed bilateral tiess, with emphasis in healthcare cooperation.
Four Cuban medical brigades currently work in the Congo and more than 2000 young Congolese have received training in medicine in Cuba.
