Artemisa, July 31 (RHC)-- The more than 60 members of the Latin American and Caribbean Brigade of Solidarity with Cuba were welcomed Monday at the Julio Antonio Mella International Camp in the western province of Artemisa by officials with the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP).
During their stay on the island, which runs through August 11th, the brigadistas will conduct voluntary work in the Cuban agricultural sector. They will also tour places of social, cultural and historical interest and exchange with Cuban leaders and youth in the provinces of Havana, Villa Clara and Pinar del Río.
This 25th contingent of the Latin American and Caribbean Brigade of Solidarity with Cuba brings together activists from Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Honduras, Peru, Mexico, Panama, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Jamaica, Guadalupe, Haiti and Quebec.
