Havana, September 21 (RHC)-- Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez received Thursday in Havana the Director General of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States Dr. Didacus Jules, who is on a working visit.
The two diplomats addressed issues on the international agenda, the historic and fraternal ties between Cuba and its Caribbean neighbors as well as their willingness to continue strengthening them.
They agreed on the need to find joint solutions to common problems affecting the region, such as the impact of climate change.
Dr. Didacus Jules assumed the post of Director General, of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States in May 2014. In his capacity he has pushed for integration of the Eastern Caribbean states into a single regional economic and social space.
