Havana, November 6 (RHC)-- Sponsored by the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, a delegation of more than 30 companies and institutions is attending this year's first edition of China's International Import Expo, being held in Shanghai.
Cuban business representatives are showcasing the island's exportable offer of products and services, as well as promoting investment opportunities. They will be holding one-on-one encounters with Chinese business representatives and will take part in various specialized business gatherings, including a China-Cuba Business Forum beginning Thursday, November 8th.
Several foreign dignitaries and high officials of international organizations took the floor during the inaugural session of the International Import Expo in Shanghai, considered the world's largest international import exhibition. The Shanghai fair is being attended by 18 heads of state and government, 172 countries, and showcasing products over a 300,000 square meter area.
