Havana, November 23 (RHC)-- Cuba has called for the complete and comprehensive prohibition and elimination of all weapons of mass destruction during the general debate of the Fourth Review Conference on the Chemical Weapons Convention in the Hauge.
Cuba's Deputy Minister of Science, Technology and Environment, Fernando González Bermúdez, noted that this continues to be one of the organization's key aims, while highlighting the importance of promoting economic and technological development of member states, especially underdeveloped ones.
While in the Netherlands, González also met with his Dutch counterparts to discuss Project Life, the Cuban government's plan to tackle climate change.
