Havana, December 5 (RHC)-- First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba Raúl Castro Ruz met Tuesday in Havana with Kim Yong Nam, President of the Supreme Popular Assembly Presidium of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), who is paying an official visit to Cuba.
During the fraternal meeting, Kim Yong Nam, who is also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Workers' Party of Korea (PTC) Central Committee, conveyed cordial greetings to Raúl from North Korean president Kim Jong Un.
Raúl Castro and Kim Yong Nam reviewed the state of bilateral relations between Cuba and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, which they both termed as 'excellent'. They also reviewed prospects for further strengthened bilateral friendship and cooperation ties.
Previously, Kim Yong Nam held official talks with Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel.
