Havana, January 7 (RHC)-- The first Central American Solidarity Brigade with Cuba arrived in Havana over the weekend, where it will fulfill an intense work agenda.

Coming from Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Honduras, El Salvador and Panama, the activists began their activities on Monday at the Julio Antonio Mella International Camp, located in the western province of Artemisa.

They will participate on Tuesday, January 8th in the reception ceremony for the Caravana de la Libertad (Caravan of Freedom) in Havana, the Cuban News Agency reported.

In addition, tours are planned through the provinces of Artemisa, Havana, Cienfuegos and Villa Clara, in whose capital the brigade will pay tribute to the Argentinean-Cuban guerrilla fighter Ernesto Che Guevara.

According to the source, they will attend conferences on Cuba's National Hero José Martí and will learn about Cuba's foreign policy.
