Havana, July 3 (RHC)—Former Argentinean president and current pre-candidate as vice-president for the upcoming elections, Cristina Fernández, is travelling to Cuba follow closely the evolution of her daughter Florencia Kirchner, hospitalized on the island since last March.

The current senator for Unidad Ciudadana Party informed on Twitter that she will be about 8 days on the island. Florencia Kirchner is suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome.

She had traveled in early March to the island for a course at the Antonio de los Baños International Film School, but could not return to her country due to health problems.

In a video posted on social media, Fernandez denounced how the fierce political persecution against her daughter has weakened her health.
