Havana, Apr 8 (RHC), -- The regulations for the exploitation and management of harbor maritime services at the Mariel Special Development Zone in Cuba went into effect following their publication on Monday in the Official Gazette.
A resolution issued by the Cuban Transport Ministry indicates that such regulations are under the authority of the Harbor administration and that the Maritime facility will operate 24/7 all 365 days of the year, except under exceptional circumstances.
The document details the duties and rights to have in mind in order to access or offer harbor and maritime services, as well as control and organizational activities to guarantee the appropriate operation of the facility, part of the Mariel Harbor Special Development Zone, located in the Artemisa province, west of Havana.
