Tokio, April 22 (RHC)-- Tetsuzi Sagawa, Director General of the Japanese Committee of Solidarity with Cuba reiterated his country's solidarity with and support of Cuba, as well as the Asian nation's rejection of Washington's over 50 year-long blockade against Cuba.

During a visit on Tuesday to the Cuban embassy in Tokio, Sagawa and other solidarity committee activists exchanged views with Cuba's Ambassador, Marcos Rodríguez, who briefed the Japanese visitor on the process to update the Cuban economic model and the new Cuban Foreign Investment Law.

The Cuban diplomat also offered the Japanese solidarity activists detailed information about the recently exposed US covert program dubbed Zunzuneo, which is nothing else than a new chapter in the long history of US subversive actions to try to undermine and destroy the Cuban revolution from within.

Tetsuzi Sagawa thanked the Cuban ambassador for the exchange and reiterated his organization's permanent solidarity with the Cuban people's cause.
