Havana, February 27 (RHC) The King of Lesotho, Letsie III, will begin an official visit to Cuba next Saturday, to hold talks with Cuban authorities and carry out other activities, the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
Cuba and Lesotho celebrated four decades of diplomatic relations in 2019, during which time they expanded their ties with the signing of various cooperation agreements.
A medical brigade from Cuba serves the African nation, which is widely recognized by the authorities and the population.
Lesotho maintains a policy of rejecting the blockade that the United States has been exercising against Cuba for almost 60 years.
