Cuba strongly condemns U.S. sanctions against Syria

Havana, June 6 (RHC)-- Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez has condemned U.S. sanctions against Syria and the increase in coercive measures against the Arab country under the so-called "Caesar Law."

Cuba's top diplomat expressed the strongest condemnation of the sanctions of #USA vs. #Syria."

On his Twitter account, Bruno Rodriguez said that such measures constitute a "grave and flagrant violation" of the United Nations Charter, international law and the human rights of the Syrian people."

The Cuban foreign minister wrote that such a policy of hostility against Syria affects the reconstruction of that country after nine years of war and in the context of COVID-19.
