Copenhagen, July 3 (RHC)-- Arbejderen, the newspaper of the Danish Communist Party (KP), highlighted Cuba's solidarity with other nations in the confrontation with COVID-19, despite the aggressions of the United States.

In an article published on its website, the newspaper referred to attacks promoted from Washington such as the presentation by Senators Rick Scott, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz of a bill aimed at punishing countries that accept medical collaboration from Cuba.

"Despite this, Cuba's generosity awakens great sympathy around the world," said Arbejderen, and highlighted the internationalist work of the Caribbean island's doctors, especially the members of the Henry Reeve brigades.

The newspaper also referred to the campaign advocated by numerous organizations to award Cuban aid workers with the Nobel Peace Prize, in recognition of their work over the years and especially during the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus pandemic.
