Havana, October 14 (RHC)-- The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, received the official diplomatic credentials of the new ambassadors of Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Kingdom of Norway, Sri Lanka and Vietnam.

Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, accompanied Díaz-Canel in the ceremony, in which the diplomats presented the documents that accredit them as ambassadors of their respective countries in Cuba.

Díaz-Canel greeted María Cândida Pereira Teixeira, Ambassador of Angola; Maurice George Goodwin, Ambassador of Antigua and Barbuda; Philip Henderson St.Hill, Ambassador of Barbados; and Henricus Abram (Eric) Strating, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

He also welcomed Petr Kaván, Ambassador of the Czech Republic; Beate Stirø, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway; Lakshitha Pradeep Ratnayake, Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka; and Le Thanh Tung, Ambassador of Vietnam to Cuba.
