Mexico, May 26 (RHC) -- A Mexican business delegation arrived today in Cuba led by the Mexican government's Economy Secretary Idelfonso Guajardo and comprised of almost 60 businesspeople, interested in exploring trade and investment opportunities.
According to Mexican Ambassador to Cuba Juan Jose Bremer, the delegation's activities in Cuba will get underway on Monday with a seminar attended by businesspeople from both nations.
The delegation will also participate in the opening of an economic office in Havana, which will provide counseling for Mexican business operating in the Caribbean island.
Likewise, the business representatives will tour the Special Development Zone, located around 50 kilometers west of Havana in the maritime port of Mariel.
The Mexican delegation also includes the director-generals of the National Foreign Trade Bank and ProMexico, Enrique de la Madrid and Francisco Gonzalez, respectively, as well as the Foreign Undersecretary for Latin America and the Caribbean, Vanesa Rubio.
