Cuban and Armenia to fortify bilateral relations
Havana, March 9 (RHC)-- Cuban and Armenian foreign ministers, Bruno Rodriguez and Ara Aivazian, talked about the two countries’ current and future bilateral relations and cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).
According to the Armenian Foreign Ministry, during the phone conversation held yesterday, the two top dilomats of Cuba and Armenia expressed mutual readiness to intensify political exchange and strengthen interaction in areas of mutual interest.
The diplomats shared views on issues related to integration processes. Aivazian and Rodriguez expressed their total confidence that the ‘observer state’ status will enable Cuba to cooperate more effectively with the EEU member states, especially concerning industry, health, energy, transport and agriculture.
Through his Twitter account, Bruno Rodriguez thanked the Armenian government for its support in regard to Cuba's incorporation as an observer country in the Eurasian Economic Union.
