Havana, April 27 (RHC)—Cuban health authorities reported 1 083 new Covid infections and seven deaths due to the disease over the last 24 hours.
The Caribbean island now accumulates 103 524 cases and 604 deaths.
The national director of Epidemiology, Francisco Durán, said that 5402 positive patients are currently hospitalized.
Havana reported the overwhelming majority of cases with 717 cases. Matanzas followed with a distant 98, and Santiago 59. Las Tunas had 1 case and Ciego de Avila, and the Isle of Youth reported no cases.
Cuba has reported 14 729 Covid -19 autochthonous and 327 imported cases in the last two weeks.
