Havana, June 18 (RHC) -– Angolan President Jose Eduardo dos Santos began an official visit to Cuba on Tuesday, aimed at further strengthening bilateral relations between Luanda and Havana.
Speaking with reporters upon his arrival at Havana’s Jose Marti International Airport: “We are here to jointly consider with our Cuban brothers and sisters, particularly with president Raul Castro, all possible ways to further strengthen our bilateral relations.”
The Angolan head of state expressed his willingness to collaborate and keep improving bilateral links so to achieve a major and positive impact on the life of the two nations.
The Angolan president is scheduled to hold official talks with Raul Castro and tour places of economic interest such as the Mariel Special Development Zone, west of Havana.
