Havana, June 30 (RHC)—Cuban health authorities announced on Wednesday the diagnoses of 2970 new infections with COVID-19 and 14 deaths in the last 24 hours.
The Caribbean island now accumulated 190 993 positive cases and 1284 fatalities due to the disease since the beginning of the pandemic last year.
As of midnight, there were 15 502 positive cases admitted to the island´s hospitals, the highest number for a day.
Matanzas remained at the top of the territories with the most cases, reporting 790. Havana had 370, Santiago de Cuba 283, and Camaguey 278 cases.
