Madrid, June 27 (RHC)-- Cuba and Spain have signed in Madrid an association agreement in the framework of international cooperation for development.
The document was penned by Cuban deputy minister of Foreign Trade and Investment Ileana Nunez and by the general secretary of the Spanish Cooperation Agency, Gonzalo Robles.
A press release by the Cuban embassy in Spain explains that the association accord is a tool that favors integration and dialog among all Cuban and Spanish participants in the field of collaboration and contributes to establish other working mechanisms for permanent and joint work.
The agreement was signed during the visit to Spain by a Cuban delegation that promoted in the European nation the new Cuban Foreign Investment Law and the Mariel Special Development Zone.
