Cuba reports 7,516 new Covid-19 cases and 76 deaths

Havana, September 14 (RHC) Cuban health authorities reported on Tuesday 7,516 new cases of Covid-19 and 76 deaths.

The national director of Epidemiology, Francisco Duran, said on national television that the country had maintained daily numbers ranging from seven to eight thousand new cases in the last week.

The expert said that in the first 13 days of September, there were 101,596 confirmed cases and 1,072 deaths due to complications associated with the disease.

Duran regretted that, despite the repeated alerts on the care of minors in pediatric ages, 1,807 infants were diagnosed in the last 24 hours.

The Caribbean island is advancing in the immunization process with its vaccines Soberana 02, Soberana Plus, and Abdala, of which 16 million 529,370 doses have been administered.

A total of 4,304,691 Cubans have already been fully immunized, which represents 38.4 percent of the country's entire population 

of approximately 11,300,000 people.
