I had a cordial telephone conversation with the president of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, to whom I expressed my warm congratulations and wishes for health and personal happiness on his 69th birthday, the Cuban leader wrote on Twitter.
This is the second telephone contact between the two leaders in just over a month.
