Havana, October 15 (RHC)-- Cuban health authorities reported 2,138 positive cases of Covid-19 and 24 deaths due to complications associated with the disease, the latter being the lowest figure in the last two months.

Since March 11, 2020, the country has registered 930,822 diagnosed cases and 8,18 fatalities, said the national epidemiology chief of the Ministry of Public Health, Francisco Durán.

There are 10,277 confirmed patients hospitalized, the lowest number in the last month, the doctor said.

The indicators are improving and show a favorable evolution, but it is necessary to maintain the sanitary measures to consolidate the results in the control of the pathogen, he added.
