Havana, July 18 (PL-RHC) -- The diversification of apiculture products is one of the issues to be debated in Havana by more than 100 delegates from the United States, Spain, Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, and other countries at the Fifth Cuban Congress on Apiculture.
Applications in the human medicine of honey products, and the current situation and perspectives of distribution, growing and control of the small hive beetle will be also analyzed during the final day of the congress.
This forum, running at the Havana's Conference Center since Tuesday, July 15th, is sponsored by the Cuban Beekeeping Company, the Cuban Beekeeping Company, the Cuban Beekeeping Society, and the Cuban Association of Agricultural and Forestry Technicians, among other institutions.
The Congress is a free space begun 10 years ago to exchange among Cuban beekeepers, researchers and professionals, and more countries working in the field of apiculture.
