Havana, Jun 3 (RHC) The Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) reported Friday that some seven million 275,031 people have received anti-COVID-19 booster doses.

Of these, 324,090 are part of the clinical study, and 6,950,941 belong to the booster vaccination applied to the population of selected territories and at-risk groups.

The health entity reported that 10 million 671 thousand 419 people had received at least one dose of the Cuban vaccines Soberana 02, Soberana Plus, and Abdala.  9 million 410 thousand 821 have received a second dose. Nine million 112 thousand 021 had received the third dose.

Cuba is of the world's countries with the highest COVID-19 immunization rate per capita. This goal has been achieved thanks to the development by its scientific community of highly efficient vaccines, despite the numerous obstacles stemming from the reinforced U.S. blockade.
