Havana, July 23 (RHC) -– China’s President Xi Jinping winds up an official visit to Cuba after visiting the eastern province of Santiago de Cuba.

During the two-day official visit here, Xi held talks with President Raul Castro on the excellent bilateral and friendship relations between the two nations. Raul and Xi stressed their willingness to maintain developing bilateral links with emphasis on the implementation of a bilateral economic agenda.

Xi was decorated with the Jose Marti Order, the top distinction granted by Cuba. Cuba and China signed 29 collaboration accords in the areas of finances, biotechnology, agriculture, infrastructure and renewable energies.

The Chinese head of state also met with Revolution leader Fidel Castro.
