The XXI National Assembly of Solidarity with Cuba will reiterate its condemnation of the U.S. blockade against Cuba

Quito, Oct 8 (RHC) The XXI National Assembly of Solidarity with Cuba will take place this Saturday in the Ecuadorian city of Guayaquil, where attendees will reiterate their condemnation of the U.S. blockade against the Caribbean nation.

We are convinced of the need to consolidate solidarity from all corners of the country in support of the Cuban people and its Revolution, an example for the peoples seeking emancipation", the call for the meeting states.

The meeting is to remember Comandante Ernesto Che Guevara on the 55th anniversary of his physical disappearance and will also recall the centenary of the strike and massacre of November 15 in Guayaquil, considered the first bloodbath of the Ecuadorian proletariat.

In the Assembly, the participants will discuss the projections for the period 2022-2024 and will elect a new directive of the Ecuadorian Coordinating Committee of the Movement of Friendship and Solidarity with Cuba (CEMASC).

This meeting will serve to reactivate the actions in the provinces and the unity of people of goodwill who are on the side of the greatness of the Cuban Revolution, said Milton Chamorro, leader of the Ecuadorian Coordinating Committee of the Movement of Friendship and Solidarity with Cuba, in the call to the meeting.
