Havana, August 8 (RHC) -- July became the third hottest month in Cuba since 1951 with an average temperature of 28 C degrees, beating the historical monthly average by 0.6 degrees Celsius.
According to data by the National Meteorology Institute, the maximum and minimum temperature values beat regular figures, and triggered extremely hot nights and low rainfall in the whole country.
Reports say the highest temperature of 37.2 degrees Celsius was registered at the station of Guantanamo on July 24th, while other territories also set records.
Experts predict August will also be another hot month as well.
