Fidel in the Caravan of Freedom.
Matanzas, Jan 5 (RHC) The Mobile Museum exhibition "Fidel in Matanzas", organized by the Palacio de Junco Provincial Museum, will present photographs related to the passage of the Freedom Caravan through the province of Matanzas to different schools in this city.
The exhibition aims to promote an exchange with the students about the historical event from the appreciation of the images on display, said Yaisel Feria Sigas, communicator of the Provincial Center of Cultural Heritage of Matanzas.
Feria told the Cuban News Agency that during the first 15 days of this month, the Mobile Museum will visit different institutions in the Versalles neighborhood and will continue its tour to other areas of the city.
He also announced that among the heritage snapshots, there are some by Juan Seguí, an experienced artist, who on different occasions had the opportunity to take pictures of Fidel Castro, the Historical Leader of the Cuban Revolution.
The specialists of the Junco Palace will go to the Reynold Garcia Urban Basic Highs School (ESBU) and the Mártires del Goicuría Elementary School to promote knowledge about History, he exemplified.
It is explained in http://cuba.cu/quienes-somos that the Caravan of Freedom is the allusive name of the triumphal march of the Revolution, which was led by Fidel Castro left in 1959 from Santiago de Cuba to Havana.
