Havana, Feb 22 (RHC) Cuba's Electrical Union (UNE) on Wednesday reported a new failure in the national electrical grid.
On Facebook, the UNE informed the causes are being investigated and will be disclosed as soon as possible.
According to CMHW radio station, which broadcasts from the central province of Villa Clara, the power failure happened in the 220KW power line that connects Matanzas with Cienfuegos.
Likewise, it was confirmed that a new failure of the National Electro-energy Grid in central-eastern Cuba popped up on Wednesday afternoon, the Cubadebate website reported.
On Tuesday, the UNE reported that provinces from Cienfuegos to Guantánamo were affected without a power system due to failures related to forest fires. (Source: PL)
