Cuban and Chinese representatives examine bilateral economic agenda
Havana, March 31 (RHC) The president of the National Development and Reform Commission of China, Zheng Shanjie, received Cuban Vice Prime Minister Jorge Luis Perdomo, in Beijing, and both discussed the main issues on the bilateral economic agenda.
During the meeting, the Caribbean leader thanked the organization for its systematic support for Cuba, which is in charge of cooperation in biotechnology, the joint projects in the context of the Belt and Road initiative, and the implementation of the consensus reached at the highest level.
The meeting with Zheng took place on the second day of the working visit made by the vice prime minister to China, with the aim of following up on projects in priority sectors for both parties such as biotechnology, health and telecommunications.
