Cuban FM wishes success to commission for Colombia´s peace talks
Havana, Jun 23 (RHC) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez on Friday wished success to a new commission of the peace talks between the Colombian government and the National Liberation Army (ELN).
The Cuban minister praised on Twitter his country´s support for the peace process in the South American nation.
The commission, working in Havana since June 20, drafts protocols of the bilateral, national, and temporary ceasefire agreement.
Likewise, a commission is working in Bogota to set up the National Participation Committee (CNP), a body in charge of dynamizing the society´s involvement in the Peace Process.
Delegates of the Colombian government and the ELN took a step towards peace on June 9 to seek a political solution to the armed conflict in the South American nation. (Source: Prensa Latina)
