Tokyo, September 15 (RHC) -- Members of International Association of Democratic Lawyers ratified Monday in Tokyo their commitment against terrorism and in favor of the freedom of the three Cuban anti-terrorists still imprisoned in U.S. Jails.
The statement, in favor of Gerardo Hernández, Ramón Labañino, Antonio Guerrero, René González and Fernando González, known as The Five, is part of activities taking place worldwide in solidarity with the Cuban anti-terrorists.
The Permanent Directors Council of the Japan-Cuba Friendship Association sent a letter to U.S. President Barack Obama demanding a change of policy on Cuba and the immediate release of the Cuban anti-terrorists.
Union, student, religious, indigenous, political and social organizations from over 40 countries are carrying out numerous actions in favor of The Five as part of International solidarity events.
