Artemisa, December 28 (RHC) -- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel on Thursday recognized the hard work and humanity of the Quisicuaba Project at its Agricultural Camp and Assisted Living Center.
The head of state toured the facilities of the institution, a new type of community, located in the municipality of San Antonio de los Baños, in the municipality of Artemio de los Baños, which houses former street dwellers.
He was concerned about the food, health and living conditions of the residents, who emotionally expressed their gratitude for the dedication and familiarity with which they are treated.
Here we have found our family, agreed the beneficiaries, who now enjoy all the attention that makes them live with dignity.
For the president of the Quisicuaba Project, Enrique Alemán, Díaz-Canel's visit represents an honor because of the importance of being united in the great program of social reinsertion under the Marti's precept of working with all and for the good of all.
The Assisted Living Center, belonging to the Agricultural Camp, is one of the 31 Social Programs currently developed by the Quisicuaba Religious Institution.
