Kumar affirmed that the triumph of the Cuban Revolution on January 1, 1959, marked the beginning of a new society on the island

Havana, January 3 (RHC) The leader of the All India Peace and Solidarity Organization, Arun Kumar, stated that Cuba means internationalism, social justice and the best of human being.

On behalf of the Communist Party of India and the National Committee of Solidarity with Cuba, Kumar highlighted the resistance and example of the Cuban people in a congratulatory message for the 65th anniversary of the triumph of its Revolution.

He added that the triumph of the Cuban Revolution marked the beginning of a new society on the island, on January 1, 1959, when Fidel Castro and the Rebel Army marched towards Havana.

The member of the Communist Party of India underlined that, from that day on, Cuban society and people fight against imperialism, which has done everything to try to strangle the Revolution and turn it into its colony.

He assured that Cuba resisted those attacks and is now considered an inspiration for all the young people of the world and also for all those who fight for a revolutionary transformation of society. (Source: PL)
