Cuba and Slovakia review cooperation relations
Havana, Feb 12 (RHC) The Prime Minister of Cuba, Manuel Marrero Cruz, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Head of Defense of Slovakia, Robert Kalinak, reviewed this Monday in Dubai the progress of cooperation and business relations.
Marrero reported in his X profile that during the meeting they addressed the potential of their countries to expand economic and commercial ties, with emphasis on of biotechnology.
He also held meetings with his counterpart from Serbia, Ana Brnabić; the executive president of the World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab; and Emirati ministers, in the context of the World Summit of Governments meeting in Dubai.
Speaking at the plenary session of the event, the Cuban prime minister warned that despite the scientific-technical potential reached by humanity, never before has the world been so unequal.
He noted that the current multidimensional crisis the planet is suffering is aggravated by geopolitical conflicts and wars for the control of natural resources. In this sense, he reiterated Cuba’s rejection of the genocides committed by Israeli forces in Palestinian territories. (Source: PL)
