Havana, April 20 (RHC) -- Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez asserted on Saturday that Cuba's best day in the United States will be the one when the White House puts an end to the economic, commercial and financial blockade against the island.

In his X account, the Cuban Foreign Minister added that it will be the day when the United States listens to the call of both peoples, of the majority of Cubans living abroad and the international community and puts an end to the blockade and all the measures of encirclement and abuse against the Cuban people.

For more than six decades the United States has unilaterally maintained an economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba, the longest in the history of mankind.

During the administration of former President Donald Trump, 234 new measures were approved that tightened the siege imposed against Cuba, which have been maintained by the government of President Joe Biden.

This hostile policy constitutes the main obstacle to the development of the Cuban people.   (Source:ACN)
