Cuba reiterates commitment to International Law

The International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace was established on December 6, 2018 by the United Nations General Assembly and has been commemorated annually since 2019

 

Havana, April 24 (RHC) The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez, today reiterated the island's commitment to the United Nations Charter and International Law, on the occasion of Diplomacy Day.

Through his profile on X, Rodríguez pointed out that the promotion and respect of multilateralism and diplomacy are essential to guarantee international peace and security, in the face of the attempt at imposing imperialist rules.

The International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace was established on December 6, 2018 by the United Nations General Assembly and has been commemorated annually since 2019.

It seeks to reaffirm the Charter of the United Nations and its principles of resolving disputes between countries by peaceful means. (Source: PL)
