Havana, October 7 (RHC) -— Cuban and foreign experts are gathering at an international forum on renewable energy, in Havana, particularly addressing the processing of biomass into usable gas, a project well underway in the Isle of Youth, South of the Cuban capital.
The program included a key-note lecture by Andre Faaij, member of the European Energy Academy, on biomass use in developing countries.
Cuban specialists in the field are presenting their results in using wind farms and solar energy technology, as well as biomass.
The forum aims at promoting cooperation between nations and companies involved in the development of renewable energy sources.
Attending the event are renowned experts from Argentina, Uruguay and Mexico.
