First International Biennial of Political Humor continues in Cuba
Havana, June 19 (RHC) The José Martí National Library of Cuba inaugurates today an exhibition of bibliographic collections on Political Humor, as part of the 1st International Biennial of Political Humor taking place in Havana from June 15.
Although San Antonio de los Baños, a municipality in the province of Artemisa, holds the title of the Capital of Humor for being the headquarters of the Biennial since 1979, these days Havana has earned such merit by bringing together in its most prestigious institutions multiple works by various artists who, with a critical approach, present their works to viewers.
This afternoon, the National Library will also host a discussion on humor in politics and how this cultural institution archives this heritage asset. (Source: PL)
