Havana, July 3 (RHC) Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero today ratified through the social network X, his country's support to the nations affected by the powerful hurricane Beryl, in its passage through the Caribbean Sea.

The head of government wrote on the platform: "From Cuba, all support and solidarity with the sister Caribbean nations affected by the passage of Hurricane Beryl".

He also assured that Cuba is in constant contact with its collaborators and diplomatic missions in the region.

On Tuesday, Miguel Díaz-Canel, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, also expressed solidarity with the Caribbean nations that suffered the scourge of the meteorological phenomenon.

Beryl crossed the Lesser Antilles and the eastern Caribbean on Monday with a category four (out of five) on the Saffir-Simpson scale, causing severe damage in Grenada, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Barbados.
