Cuba congratulates Venezuela on the anniversary of its independence

Havana, July 5 (RHC) The Cuban Foreign Ministry congratulated the people and government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on the 213th anniversary of its independence.

 

The Foreign Ministry wrote on the official X account: On behalf of the Cuban government and people, "we ratify our solidarity and support to the homeland of Bolivar and Chavez; and our commitment to continue strengthening the bonds of brotherhood that unite us."

 

Cuba and Venezuela maintain solid political, economic and cultural relations, in addition to coinciding in governmental positions and practices on important matters of bilateral, regional and global interest.

 

The Venezuelan government and people celebrate their National Day this Friday, when they commemorate the signing on July 5, 1811 of the Act of Independence of the former Spanish colony. (Source: PL)
