Cuban President attends second day of parliamentary debates
Havana, July 18 (RHC) Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel participates today in the second day of debates of the third ordinary session of the National Assembly of Popular Power (Parliament).
This Thursday, deputies will discuss the audit of the Ministry of Food Industry and the accountability of the Ministry of Internal Trade.
Lay judges will also be elected to the Supreme People's Court, the highest judicial authority in the country, which is accountable to the Assembly for the results of its work and has six chambers.
On the other hand, the accountability of the government of Villa Clara, the central province of the nation, as well as the debate for the approval of the bill of the Law of Transparency and Access to Information will take place.
The evaluation of the opinion of the Constitutional and Legal Commissions and the Commissions of Education, Culture, Science, Technology and the Environment should conclude today's agenda. (Source: PL)
