Rome, October 26 (RHC) -- The National Association of Friendship Italy-Cuba (Anaic) is developing a fundraising campaign to help victims of Hurricane Oscar in the eastern Cuban province of Guantanamo.

Walter Persello, vice president of Anaic, in statements to Radio Habana Cuba, explained the results that the campaign is obtaining in a short time.

In this regard, he specified that as a result of the initiative with the motto "Energy for life, fundraising campaign in favor of the Cuban people", in just over 24 hours the collection has exceeded ten thousand euros.

He expressed confidence in the partners, the people who follow them and who are supportive, love the Cuban Revolution and are willing to defend it.
