New York, March 5 (RHC)-- A panel discussion will be held in New York City on Thursday, March 13th: "Ending the War on Women."
With the participation of expert panelists, the discussion will explore the intersections of gender, race, economic and political oppression -- shedding light on the unique yet interconnected battles women face in a context plaged by war and violence against women.
The panel will be facilitated by Claudia De la Cruz, theologian, popular educator and Executive Director of IFCO/Pastors for Peace.
Among the participants will be Leima Martinez Freire, Director of the North America Division at ICAP -- the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples -- in Havana.
The event will be held at the Union Theological Seminary, James Chapel, located at 3041 Broadway, New York -- from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 13th.
The Union Theological Seminary is an actual seminary located in Morningside Heights (upper Manhattan), founded in 1836 and connected with Columbia University.
