Havana, March 25 (RHC)-- The cultural attaché of the Venezuelan Embassy in Cuba, Alirio Liscano, stated this Tuesday that the world is changing, and that is why imperialism and all forms of domination are in decline.

Liscano, a Venezuelan historian and writer, attended the Anti-Imperialist and Anti-Fascist Day sponsored by the Union of Young Communists (UJC) throughout the country, with headquarters in this capital.

The organizations involved in the event denounced the "policies of economic aggression, media campaigns, and attempts to undermine Cuban sovereignty by the United States government."

"Imperialism has done everything to us in terms of evil, deception, and manipulation, but our people, who have fought and been reborn so much, are always reborn," declared Liscano.

The platform commemorating the 122nd anniversary of the birth of Cuban student leader Julio Antonio Mella also celebrated the upcoming founding dates of the José Martí Pioneers Organization (OPJM) and the UJC (April 4).

During the event in Havana, the participants also expressed their solidarity with Palestine and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
