Havana, November 4 (RHC) –- Brooklyn Mack, first dancer with the Washington Ballet, said after his performance in Havana that he was so moved that he will come back to the island.

Born in South Carolina, Mack waved good-bye to the Cuban International Ballet Festival after making a memorable performance alongside outstanding Cuban ballerina Viengsay Valdes, who again showed her best qualities on the stage despite having a high fever, while Mack also suffered from a lesion, something the audience never knew.

Mack and Valdes also wrote an unforgettable chapter in the history of the festival with their Don Quixote Pas de Deux last October 31st at Havana´s Karl Marx Theater.

The U.S.-Cuban dancing pair were considered the strongest at the current International Ballet Festival in Havana, which is being contested by representatives of 28 nations.
